Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs: «Early to say about European Commission office opening»

Today the technical visit of European Commission delegation headed by Hilde Hardeman, Head of Unit for Relations with Ukraine, Moldova and Belarus at the European Commission’s Directorate-General is finishing.

Andrei Papou, the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs press secretary said that Valery Varanetski, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs had met with the delegation. According to Papou, the question on the European Commission office opening is still in the internal process of approvals and it is early to say about the date of its opening”.

The delegation confirmed the EU readiness for more close cooperation on condition that the official Minsk implements 12 proposals made by the EU – Radio Svaboda reports.
