Gomel region KGB department refused to give the computer withdrawn from democratic youth movement activist Andrei Tsianiuta during a search in his apartment on September 17, back to the owner.

As A.Tsianiuta told BelaPAN, he received a copy of the refusal resolution on October 27. The document was signed by investigator of the Gomel region KGB research department Zmitser Siadliarou. According to the resolution, the system unit of the computer has been examined and attached to the criminal case #07094320087 as an exhibit. The activist is involved in the case as a suspect. A.Tsianiuta is charged with activity on behalf of a non-registered organization “Malady Front.” The activist was forced to undergo psychological examination on October 25, which lasted for 7 hours and which was authorized by the investigator.

“Of course, I expected such a resolution. However, I hoped for a more favourable outcome, because in my petition I pledged myself to saving the system unit till my case is closed,” A.Tsianiuta emphasized.
