In Dushanbe Russian President Vladimir Putin will have two bilateral meetings with the colleagues from Belarus and Tajikistan, but will not refuse to meet Georgian leader as well.

There are some gaps for bilateral meetings in the RF president’s schedule. I don’t anticipate the situation when Putin will refuse to have a meeting with Mikheil Saakashvili”, - said the journalists Sergey Prikhodko, Aide to the Russian leader.

“For us it (meeting with Georgian president) is not a technical or protocol problem”, - the Kremlin spokesman assured.

According to ITAR-TASS he reminded that “traditionally the presidents of Russia and Georgia have contacts on all the multilateral meetings”. “We won’t tie the meeting in Dushanbe with anything”, - S. Prikhodko added.

Aide to the RF president said that the single meeting of V. Putin and A. Lukashenka is already scheduled. “Energy cooperation, “union state” construction problems, the problems of governing the “union state” bodies will be discussed there”, - he said.

The Kremlin official reminded that “holding the session of the union state council of ministers is still in the agenda”. Mikhail Fradkov was council of ministers chairman. “It is to decide whether Viktor Zubkov who succeeded the post of Prime Minister after Fradkov will also head the union state council of ministers”, - S. Prikhodko remarked. According to him the issue of the rotation is under consideration: if the Supreme State Council is headed by Russian leader, then the council of ministers is headed by Belarusian representative, and vice verse.

Aide to the Russian leader stressed that there surely will be a bilateral meeting of V. Putin and host of CIS, EurAsEC (Eurasian Economic Community) and CST (Collective Security Treaty) summits Tajikistan president Emomali Rahmonov. “The presidents are to discus cooperation in intgrational organizations, military and technical cooperation, energy cooperation, situations in the Middle Asia and Afghanistan”, - S. Prikhodko informed. “The Russian side would use the opportunity of Tajikistan’s deep knowledge of the situation in Afghanistan”, - he admitted.
