US Embassy and Minsk airport were «mined»

Police officers established the identity a person who said that the building of the US Embassy in Minsk and Minsk National Airport had been mined, Interfax learnt from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus.

“It was established tentatively, that a Minsk dweller, who has second disability group on mental disease, made a phone call and said about mining of the US legation building in Minsk and Minsk National Airport,” it was said in the MIA. “At present time a question of institution a criminal case is being solved,” it was said in the ministry.

According to the Interfax’s sources, “last Sunday an unknown man phoned to police and said the building of the US embassy in Minsk and Minsk National Airport had been mined”.
