Officials concern about «ideological views» of youth

The Mahilou City Executive Committee discussed on Wednesday the role of cultural institutions and other organisations in formation of rectitude, ideological views and respect to the state among the youth, Interfax reports.

It was said at the session of the City Committee that realisation of youth policy was a significant component of social-economic, cultural and national development of the city. One of the leading forms of the organisation of spare time of the youth is associations, clubs and circles of interests. The important role is given to labour activity of students in vacation time in building and labour brigades, organised on bases of educational establishments.

The great importance in the system of organisation of leisure activities for the youth, formation of ideological views and rectitude, respect to the state is given to mass events, actions, expeditions, and competitions.

At the same time, there are “untapped reserves” in the work. Analysis of the activity of cultural, educational and sporting establishments show the necessity to improve their activity in filling the leisure time of the youth with new different forms of holding of the events of ideological and educational character, it was noted at the City Committee’s session.
