Activists of the United Civil Party spread leaflets with the information about political prisoners and 1.500 copies of the newspapers “Svobudu Belarusi” (“Freedom for Belarus”) and “Glotok Vozdukha” (“Jolt of Fresh Air”) near the gate of the Minsk Refrigerator Plant.
During spreading of information materials by activists, the security of the plant called the police. But the representatives of the law-enforcement bodies were too slow, and the UCP activists leave the plant successfully.
“So, we joined information campaign on spreading independent newspapers and the campaign “Solidarity for Freedom”, said Valyantina Palyavikova, member of the political council of the UCP.
Anatol Lyabedzka noted that it was his third meeting with workers near the gates of plants within this month. “High demand on non-state information is noted everywhere. We hear good reaction of people to such actions,” the UCP leader emphasised.
