In Loshytski Yar people paid tribute to the memory of repressions victims

More that 100 people took part in the authorized rally in Minsk from the Palace of Culture of the Worsted Factory (Mayakovski Street) to Loshytski Yar, where mass executions of the innocent people took placed in the period of Stalin’s repressions.

The action organized by the Conservative Christian Party of the Belarusian Popular Front, began at about 12.30 p.m. Its participants were carrying white-red-white flags, symbols of the party and posters with the inscriptions “Dziady” and “Remember the victims of Russian terror”.

The rally finished with a meeting in Loshytski Yar. The action was organized in the frames of the Year of Memory of the political repressions’ victims, announced by Belarusian democratic community, BelaPAN reports.
