400 busts of Lenin exhibited in Polatsk

Private public exposition “Lenin’s Epoch”, the only in the Vitebsk area, has opened in Polatsk ahead of 90th anniversary of October revolution.

Mikola Pankrat, member of the Belarusian Republic Public Association of Collectors, owner of the exposition said BelTA his collection consists of busts, bas-reliefs and sculptures of the chief of the world proletariat Vladimir Ulyanov-Lenin and his revolutionary friends Dzerzhinsky, Frunze and Voroshilov.

There are more than 400 plastic images of Lenin in Mikola Pankrat’s collection. There are iconic busts from halls of administrative buildings, plastic sculptures of little Volodya Ulyanov from Pioneers Palaces, and rare writing sets depicting Lenin having a rest. The collection also includes 15 monuments to Lenin, gathered by Mikola Pankrat in different towns of Belarus.

The exposition “Lenin’s Epoch” is open to visitors on weekends and holidays. Admission free.
