Since December 17 students had to pull in their belts or to become professional “free-riders”, or “hares”. Reduced-fare tickets for students have been cancelled. On the day before students from hostels No. 3 and 10 of the Belarusian State University staged a flash-mob “Tour of Pride”. They traveled by bus No. 47 (Belarusian State University – Railway station) with reduced-fare ticket for the last time.

“Hey, lalalay, do not expect any benefits!” In this way a well-known song “Three turtles” by Belarusian band NRM was interpreted by the students, who took the bus No.47, most often used by students. Students altered words of well-known songs to suit the present situation. And “Song about hares” was named an anthem of free-riders. It was repeated for about five times.

On the last bus stop (Kirau Street) students started to dance around the bus a round dance. A driver was puzzled, but soon grasped the idea and started smiling, www.moladz.org informs.
