Customs service of Belarus should cure the revealed breaches and repay to the budget the money, spent in contravention of the law not for the necessary purposes. Inspections revealed more than BYR 5 billion (about USD 2,5 million) of budgetary funds hadn’t been spent on designed purposes and were used in contravention of the law.
It was said at the session of the panel of the State Control Committee of Belarus, BelTA learnt from the committee.
The inspections showed about BYR 2 billion had been used in violation of the law. BYR 23,5 million were repaid to the budget. Cost of building operations was exceeded by BYR 47 million. Moreover, ineffective using of budget means was revealed (purchase of monitors, uniform, software, and paying utility bills) at a sum of more than BYR 3,1 billion.
