Regime continues war with market vendors

Aliaksandr Tsastura and Larysa Nasovich, leaders of entrepreneurs’ movement were sentenced to 15 days of arrest by the Saligorsk district court on 29 January. The judgement was read by Alyaksandr Burautsou.
Viktar Kryval, member of the campaign “For Free Development of Business” said it to Radio Svaboda.
The both activists were accused of participation in an “unauthorised rally” of entrepreneurs held Saligorsk on 28 January.
According to Viktar Kryval, about 50 people, including activists from Minsk, Slutsk, and other Belarusian towns, came to the Saligorsk district court to support the entrepreneurs.
Larysa Nasovich and Alyaksandr Tsastura were detained by militia on the square near the building of the Saligorsk city executive committee, where about 100 entrepreneurs had gathered there. They protested against the decree 760, banning them to employ people except for close relatives.
The witnesses at the trial were three militiamen and two officers of the ideological department at the city executive committee. Video of the yesterday’s action of entrepreneurs was shown at the trial.
