Former president of the Czech Republic and former presidents of Poland Lech Walesa and Alexander Kwasniewski called to reduce prices for Schengen visas for citizens of Belarus from 60 to 35 euro.

The Polish-Czech document says the freedom of travelling for Belarusians will contribute to the process of democratisation of the country.

The politicians stressed on the one hand the EU says it wants to support of Belarusian society in its aspirations for democracy, but, on the other hand, it limits Belarusians freedom of travelling over Europe.

Vaclav Havel, Lech Walesa and Alexander Kwasniewski noted the freedom of travelling in the early 1990s helped the Czech Republic, Poland and Hungary to achieve positive changes.
