Democratic activist Vital Karatysh wasn’t given an opportunity to wait for the results of the voting in Luninets constituency #13.

Regular soldier got leave for running in the election and was to return in his military unit on Monday, but was called in to the military enlistment office on Sunday and ordered to return to the unit.

Vital Karatysh is 24 years old, he received higher education with specialisation in state governing. He filed all necessary documents to the election commission some days before drafting.

Karatysh served a month in missile unit in the Asipovichy district. After it became known that he was registered as an MP candidate, the commandment of the military unit gave him a month leave.

If Vital Koktysh won, he wouldn’t be able to return there. But he wasn’t allowed to wait for the “elections” results.

“He was ordered to go at noon on Sunday, he wasn’t permitted to wait for the “elections” results. He was given a leave till 29 September, so he was ordered to come to the unit in uniform on Sunday. And he came, he was in the unit at afternoon,” leader of the BPF party in the Brest region Zmitser Shymanski told to Euroradio.

It should be noted that Larysa Vershalovich, who was a “deputy” of the third “house of representatives”, won the elections in the Luninets constituency.
