As the Charter’97 press-centre has found out, in connection with the blast in Minsk on the official Independence Day, winners of school competitions in chemistry are being summoned to the KGB. Senior students and recent school-leavers are all interrogated, fingerprinted, and their saliva is taken for a test.
Parents of senior students are shocked after receiving writs with a demand to come to the KGB. Schoolchildren are summoned to the KGB as a great number of other Minsk dwellers. There are opposition activists, students, workers and engineers and many others among them.
