As the Charter’97 press center has learnt, western journalists are coming in Minsk today on a special request of Timothy Bell.

It is known that 7 journalists of Great Britain and France are to come. The Financial Times is sending four journalists. This visit was initiated by British PR man Timothy Bell, hired By Belarus to improve the image of the Belarusian regime.

Western journalists plan to visit Minsk Automobile Plant, Milovitsa, the National Bank, the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Finance, High Tech Park.

It should be reminded that earlier similar propaganda tours were organised by the Belarusian authorities for Russian regional media.
