Action in support of arrested Young Front activists held near court building

Young Front members held a picket near the court building, where youth activists have a trial today for the street action “Communism Must be Tried by Tribunal”.

Associates of the detained activists, officers of the French Embassy, human rights activists came to the Leninski district court, situated in the House of Justice. Among famous people, who came there, are Vyachaslau Siuchyk, Ales Makaeu, Zmitser Dashkevich, Radio Svaboda reports.

About 20 people, holding a white-red-white flag, portraits of activists and a banner “Freedom for Political Prisoners”, formed a human chain before the trial. They were shouting “Freedom for Political Prisoners” for some minutes.

It should be reminded that youth activists, detained for the banner “Communism Must be Tried by Tribunal” near the KGB building on November 7, have a trial in the Leninski district court of Minsk today.

The minors were set free, while reports on participating in an authorised action were drawn up against five members of the Yong Front. They are Nasta Palazhanka, Tatsyana Shaputska, Nasta Loika, Alyaksei Yanusheuski and Anton Rusin.
