Attempt to fingerprint “Bobrujskiy Kurjer” editor-in-chief

The editor-in-chief of the independent newspaper “Bobrujskiy Kurjer” Anatol Sanatsenka has been summoned to police department today to be fingerprinted.
As Anatol Sanatsenka was told by an anonymous interlocutor, he was to make a fingerprint test in connection with the investigation of the blast in Minsk on July 4.
“When I once again asked him to tell his name, he presented himself as ensign of the city remand prison. As said by the anonymous ensign, he calls all men of certain age on the command of his chiefs, and invites to be fingerprinted,” the editor-in-chief said to BAJ monitoring service.
As said by Anatol Sanatsenka, he refused to be fingerprinted, referring to the fact that he is not obliged to do so.
Meanwhile, not long ago in the newspaper of October 29, “Bobrujskiy Kurjer” related about the “voluntary-compulsory” campaign of fingerprinting almost all Babrujsk citizens aged 18-55 held at enterprises and educational institutions of Babrujsk.
