“Narodnaya Volya” singed contract with Belsoyuzpechat and Belpochta

Independent newspaper “Narodnaya Volya” signed contracts with Belsoyuzpechat and Belpochta post companies on distribution of the edition via news-stalls and a subscription catalogue.
Iosif Syaredzich, editor-in-chief of “Narodnaya Volya”, told to BelaPAN a contract on printing of the newspaper in Minsk printing house “Belorusski Dom Pechati” was concluded. The edition was printed in Smolensk (Russia) before.
“We need to settle some technical details. If the things go on as we expect, I mean quickly, a new issue of the newspaper will be sold in news stalls as far as on Thursday. In other case, the newspaper will be present in Belsoyuzpechat stalls for certain,” I. Syaredzich said.
“Nasha Niva” signed a distribution contract with Belpochta, Andrei Dynko chief editor of the newspaper told. “It means that subscription index of the newspaper will be written down in the end of the catalogue by hand in every post office. Our negotiations with Belsoyuzpechat on retail distribution are rather hard. We haven’t signed a contract yet,” A. Dynko said.
On November 19, a statement of the Belarusian authorities saying to bring to notice OSCE’s recommendations on changing the Electoral Code was sent to the European institutions. Besides, Minsk announced its intention to return independent “Narodnaya Volya” and “Nasha Niva” in Belarusian printing houses, the subscription catalogue and the state distribution system.
