A militiaman tried to detain one of the participants of a street action “Tribunal for Communism!” but had to give up under pressure of ... elderly women passing by.
On December 10, activist of Minsk branch of the “Young Front” organized a street action on the day of finishing of the first stage of a penance campaign “Tribunal for Communism!”
The young people stood on Yakub Kolas square for 20 minutes holding a banner “Tribunal for Communism!” and then began to spread leaflets to passers-by.
In a pedestrian underpass, a militiaman tried to detain one of the participants of the action Bahuslau Ravyakou, fur had to give up under pressure of ... elderly women passing by, mfront.net reports.
“Elderly women began to shout to militiamen in order he to set me free, they said we are right to seek for conviction of communist ideology. They added a portrait of the acting head of Belarus should be printed in these leaflets,” Bahuslau Ravyakou said.
“The zonked militiamen went away,” the youth activist added.
