Belarusian ruble fell to historic minimum against dollar

According to the results to foreign currency trade at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange for December 5, Belarusian ruble rate against dollar was 2180.
For the whole period after the denomination in 2000, the rate has never exceeded 2175 rubles for dollar. The last time this price quotation was set on December 16, 2004, AFN notes.
Friday trading shows dollar rate has increased by 6 rubles in comparison with the previous trading.
According to the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange dollar demand was 122.729 mln dollars, offer was 65.022 mln dollars. Actual transaction volume reached 122.393 mln.
Euro rate has grown by 41 rubles and reached 2783 rubles for a euro, Russian ruble rate has declined by 0.16 rubles and amounted to 77.6 Belarusian rubles for a Russian ruble at the close of trading.
