Dzmitry Uloha, judge of the Homel Region Court, affirmed a decision of the Tsentralny district court on fining Kanstantsin Zhukouski on 29 February.
Judge Maryna Domnenka found K. Zhukouski guilty of administrative offence on 4 February. A report of the inspection on taxes and duties was a ground for the court. The report says K. Zhulouski received a wedding present from Kyiv’s aunt in 2005, which wasn’t declared in the Department on Humanitarian Activity, BelaPAN reminds.
It’s worthy to note that judge D. Uloha conducted the trial in Belarusian, but representatives of the tax inspection refused to speak Belarusian, they explained they didn’t know native language. As a result a representative of the inspection on taxes and duties spoke in broken Russian.
K. Zhukouski has an intention to appeal against decisions of Homel courts to the Supreme Court, as he is sure he is right. Meanwhile the inspection on taxes and duties required that the opposition activist should file tax return on all his life, beginning with his birth.
