Youth calls to express solidarity with Kazulin on October Square

The youth of the Belarusian Popular Front (BPF) offers to express solidarity with political prisoner Alyaksandr Kazulin on October (Kastrychnitskaya) Street on 16 March and calls on democratic forces of Belarus and all people interested to support this initiative.

“All of us know the situation former candidate for presidency of the Republic of Belarus Alyaksandr Kazulin has got in. We understand that now, as never before, this brave man and his family need our support,” the statement spread on behalf of the organisation the BPF Youth says.

The statement also notes that not only due to the political bargaining with the West, but also due to public solidarity most of the political prisoners were released this year. But Alyaksandr Kazulin remains a hostage of Lukashenka’s personal revenge.

In this connection the BPF Youth took the decision to express solidarity with Alyaksandr Kazulin on October Square at 6.00pm 16 March and invites everyone to join the event.
