Maltsau’s Mysterious Visit to China

A working visit of Defense Minister Leanid Maltsau (Maltsev) to China took place on March 1-4.

As informed by the press-service of the Defense Ministry of Belarus meetings with Senior Chinese political advisor, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), and Chinese Defense Minister. Issues of cooperation of the two countries in the military sphere were discussed.

The report of the Defense Ministry’s press-service stresses that the visit was widely covered by Chinese mass media. However, not a word was told about the visit in Belarus, BelaPAN informed.
