Medvedev to visit Minsk

Newly elected president of Russia Dmitry Medvedev was invited to visit Minsk during his telephone conversation with Alyaksandr Lukashenka. He accepted the invitation.

RIA Novosti has learnt it from a representative of Russian first vice prime minister’s staff.

“Lukashenka congratulated Medvedev on the landslide victory in the election,” the source of the agency said.

According to him, Belarusian side was an initiator of the conversation.
