Belarusian TV against U.S. embassy

Another report by journalist Yury Prakopau about activity of the American embassy in Minsk was shown on Sunday on the Belarusian TV in the Week’s Panorama.
The formal reason for the report was the fact that the U.S. embassy stopped issuing visas for Belarusian citizens again, “Nasha Niva” runs.
“Instead of reducing unneeded people, who are engaged in unknown activity, the Department of State cut consulate. Why then does the Belarusian embassy in Washington with its small staff cope with issuing visas and performing consular functions? American diplomat either don’t want to work, or can’t work, or they are not diplomats but people possessing diplomatic passports, who do everything except fulfil their direct obligations,” the TV reporters clamour.
The report showed how ambassador Karen Stewart visited the office of the Belarusian Popular Front party, how diplomats were watching the opposition street actions, how leaders of the Belarusian democratic forces entered the embassy building.
As it turns out, that due to American diplomats there are no normal political and economic relations between our countries. The purpose of the Americans in Belarus reduces to “interference into internal affairs, support of Belarusian opposition club and involving Belarusians into espionage activities.”
“The objective of U.S. embassy activity in Minsk is assistance to hooligans and radicals,” Prakopau commented on the video showing Louis Crishock, embassy first secretary, presenting at Andrei Kim’s trial, and visiting Polatsk to support “a young lady, known to Themis for her primitive drawings on walls of the administrative building.” By the way, ahead a trial over Salauyova, Vitebsk authorities sent a letter to Crishock saying they didn’t want him to arrive in Polatsk.
