Lukashenka dismissed minister of agriculture

Alyaksandr Lukashenka appointed Syamyon Shapira minister of agriculture and food, having relieved Leanid Rusak of this post, Interfax learnt from the press service of the head of state.
S. Shapira was a head of the main department and later the department of economy at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Belarus in 1999-2004. Since 2004 till the appointment to the post of minister, he was a CEO of the joint venture “Agrokombinat Dzerzhynski.”
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food was headed by Leanid Rusak. Nothing has been reported about his future.
