As it turned out, membership of the Belarusian Popular Front party (BPF) is not a good recommendation at an interview...

Alyaksandr Kuznyatsou, Yulya Mikhailava and Viktorya and Khrystsina Chyzh, young activists of the Belarusian Popular Front party, had an interview for undergraduate applicants who are going to study at law faculty of Pyotr Masherau Pedagogical University. None of the members of the BPF youth received recommendations.

“We were asked why we wanted to become lawyers,” Alyaksandr Kuznyatsou, leader of the BPF youth in Vitsebsk tells. “We said we were indignant at violating of human rights in Belarus, and didn’t agree with politically motivated detentions and persecution of students. We were said we wouldn’t receive recommendations. Dissent applicants are not even admitted to entry examinations,” the BPF press service quotes Kuznyatsou.
