Syarhei Abrazouski, a dweller of Druzhny village, was taken to hospital and diagnosed of preinfarction angina.
Mr Syarhei Abrazouski is one of the organisers of mass protests against construction of a chemical plant in Druzhny village (the Pukhavichy District). He was to have trial today for organising of the unauthorised rally in Svislach village, Radio Svaboda reports.
But last Saturday, when Abrazouski was driving to Minsk to attend the Chernobyl Way, his car was stopped by militia. The incident caused high blood pressure and Abrazouski was taken to hospital.
He is taken to hospital in Svislach village, where he lives. He will spend about 10 days here. Syarhei Abrazouski said he would inform the Pukhavichy district court he wouldn’t be able to attend the trial, and would ask for the trial to be postponed.
