The leader of the United Civil Party Anatol Lyabedzka has been invited to be present at the US Democratic Party convention, but he won’t be able to go there because of his being banned to go abroad.

The convention will take place on August 24-28 in Denver (Colorado). Candidates for presidency and vice-presidency from the party would be appointed there. It is not excluded that there the final choice between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama would be made.

The invitation to the Belarusian politician has been signed by the former US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright.

“There is an invitation; the event is interesting and intriguing. The only obstacle because of which I cannot go to participate in the event is my status of a person restricted to travel abroad,” Anatol Lyabedzka said.

Recently the oppositional politician addressed the prosecutor’s office with an aim to find out about progress in his criminal case. As it turned out, there is no progress in investigation of his case, so he is banned from leaving abroad as before.
