Russia to give Belarus its data base of restricted to travel abroad

Russian law enforcement agencies are to give Belarus the list of citizens, who are temporally restricted to leave the country.

Ihar Rachkouski, head of the State Border Committee of Belarus, has said it on the press conference in Minsk today.

According to him, the base includes about 200,000 people. It consists of the lists from Interpol, Europol, Federal Security Service of Russia, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and taxation bodies.

The head of the border committee noted including of Russian citizens, who are restricted to travel abroad, into the Belarusian data base could create some problems. “Another soft and more memory capacity on our computers are needed. We need about 300 million Belarusian rubles for this purpose,” he said.
