Parties to run in “elections” with this message

Leaders of oppositional political parties prepared a message to Belarusian citizens. Candidates for deputies will run in the parliamentary “elections” with this message.

According to the party leaders, they have been writing this message for several months. Here is the full text of the message.

What will we do for Belarus?

The message of the united oppositional forces to the nation

All people need to live, feed and raise their families. Unreasonable prices, like grasshoppers, eat our wages. Where form can we get money to pay for our apartments? Who will help, when you get sick? Nothing remains from social protection.

Belarus is not a poor country. We, Belarusians, can and like to work, so, we have the right for a better life. But do we know the truth about where people’s money goes to? Who did ask the people when the decisions on cancelling social privileges, on oppressive working contracts or ruining of entrepreneurs were taken?

Why is it happening so?

The less the authorities are controlled over, the less they think about people

Many people are afraid to express their opinions openly. The country needs real parliament, where sit people who won’t keep silence and deceive their nation. This practice is common in Europe, where people are rich and free, because they control their power.

Control of people over the authorities will give new opportunities for better life

THE UNITED DEMOCRATIC FORCES, who are not afraid to tell the truth, are able to establish the control.

Officials and appointed by the authorities members of parliament serve to those who have appointed them. While fairly elected deputies, representing THE UNITED DEMOCRATIC FORCES, can defend justice and gain control over the actions of the authorities.

It is clear that one, who falsifies the elections, is afraid of the voice of the people. The programme of THE UNITED DEMOCRATIC FORCES is the voice of the majority of the Belarusian population.

Control over the power will allow to:

• create better conditions for the economy, check the price growth and preserve social protection;

• establish cooperation with the European Union and open new opportunities for the country;

• liberate entrepreneurs from arbitrary rule;

•guarantee new jobs, good education and health care;

• guarantee human rights and freedoms.
