In the end of July Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez can visit Belarus again.

As informed by Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Venezuela in Belarus Americo Diaz Nunez at a press-conference in Minsk on June 27, in the end of July Hugo Chavez’ visit to Russia is expected in the end of July. As said by him, it was announced during the visit of Venezuelan Vice-President Ramon Carrizales to Moscow, BelaPAN informs.

“So far it was traditionally so that the route of the president of Venezuela passed through Minsk, that is why it is possible that his third visit will take place in a month,” the diplomat said.

Venezuelan President visited Belarus two times, in July 2006 and in June 2007. In December 2007 Alyaksandr Lukashenka visited Venezuela. During his visit opening of a joint Belarusian-Venezuelan oil-extracting enterprise PetroVenBel in the Venezuelan state Anzoategui took place. A number of intergovernmental and interdepartmental agreements in different spheres were signed.

Hugo Chavez also planned to visit Belarus (Russia and China) in February this year, but then postponed his visit.
