KGB officers got ranks of generals for “good” work

Alyaksandr Lukashenka gave ranks of major-generals to colonels Ivan Korzh, Mikalai Smalenski, Mikhail Puzikau and Syarhei Bobrykau.

Ivan Korzh is a head of the Homal Region KGB department, Mikalai Smalenski is a deputy head of the KGB on staff and organised work.

Lukashenka also appointed colonel Ihar Bakhmatau as a head of the Institution of the Security of Belarus, relieved him of the post of a head of the Brest Region KGB department.
