UCP session postponed due to tightened repressions against opposition

Special XII session of the United Civil Party is postponed from 27 July to 10 August.

As head of the UCP executive committee Ihar Shynkaryk said, “All organising moments are almost finished, but every day we receive new information and new events, so we need tome to understand it. Repressions continue. Moreover, they are targeted at concrete democratic participants of the electoral campaign. In this situation a two-week time-out is necessary. It will help to find better decisions connected with the electoral campaign for the “house of representatives”.
