Police tries to break in apartment of opposition activsit

Policemen are trying to break into the apartment of the head of Mahilyou headquarters of the Belarusian Social Democratic Party (Narodnaya Hramada) Alyaksandr Irkho.
Policemen asked neighbours to be attesting witnesses when door of the apartment would be burst, but nobody agreed. Parents of Alyaksandr Irkho were explained by a policeman that they were to search the apartment and detain Alyaksandr for a conversation.
Policemen left, but promised to return, Radio Svaboda informs.
Alyaksandr Irkho, a Social Democrat from Mahilyou, tried to register as a candidate for deputy. He told that members of the initiative group were under pressure all the time. The person from the initiative group, who had collected most signatures, disappeared before the signatures were to be submitted to authorities.
