As it has become known from publications in the state-run media, 1192 representatives have been nominated to 107 precinct election commissions in two election districts of Barysau region through submission of applications, from labour collectives, political parties and public associations.

Meanwhile, by the decision of Barysau regional executive committee 1107 persons have been included into the commission. It means that 85 persons who wanted to participate in the vote count, have been “left in the cold”. Notably, 45 of them were representatives of the United Civil Party, and supported Viktar Harbachou, who is set to run in Barysau city constituency No. 62, and 12 of them were supporters of Syarhei Salash, who submitted documents for registration as a candidate for deputy in Barysau rural constituency No. 63, the campaign “Human Rights activists for Free Elections”.

Earlier the head of the organizing and cadres work of Barysau regional executive committee Pavel Zhuha explained Viktar Harbachou and Syarhei Salash that their representatives hadn’t been included into the electoral commissions because of a great number of contenders. At the same time, precinct election commissions have from 5 to 14 persons, while the Electoral Code limits the number of electoral commissions’ members by 19 persons.
