Lukashenka may recognise South Ossetia and Abkhazia 5 September

An issue on recognising South Ossetia and Abkhazia by Russia will be discussed at the oncoming session of the Collective Security Board of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO) in Moscow on 5 September, Russian MFA Spokesman Andrei Nesterenko said.
“This question will be discussed during the oncoming session of the Collective Security Board of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation in Moscow the next week, 5 September,” A. Nesterenko told at a briefing in Moscow on Friday.
He also reminded that A. Lukashenka had sent a message to Russian President Dmitry Medvedev saying Belarus understands and supports the decision of Russia on recognising independence of Abkhazia and South Ossetia.”
A. Nesterenko added that session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of CSTO members was scheduled for 4 September.
