5 days in prison for “Boycott!” graffiti

The Maskouski district court of Brest sentenced Young Front activists Yauhen Skrabets and Mikhail Illin to 5 days of arrest.

The young people were detained on September 15 at 4 am on Republic Avenue, when they were drawing “BAYCOTT!” on a fence, but reports against then were drawn up only at 9 am. Militiamen checked if the damage they made may fall under a criminal case. A reports for allegedly “hooliganism” was drawn up against the activists.

It’s worth noting that the Young Front members had trial only at 4 pm. Yauhen and Mikhail had to spent 12 hours in a militia department.
