Hlybokaye BRSM pretend to be fascists (Photo)

BRSM (The Belarusian Republican Youth Union, pro-president youth organisation) is a “cheerful” organisation. How many things can they think up. Beauty contests, even for guys. Parachute jumps, digging weeds. Demonstrations with songs and dancing twice per year. They can’t keep still. The activists are always on the pages of the newspaper of the Hlybokaye district.

“What can we do to surprise and amaze the Hlybokaye dwellers?” BRSM creators thought in their cabinets. A beautiful idea came to their mind. What if we dressed in SS-men and take pictures for our newspaper? It will be in honour of anniversary of Komsomol and the 65th anniversary of release of Belarus. It’s nothing that none of them was a member of Komsomol movement. If it must be done in honour of Komsomol, we will wear swastika, because we need to dress like fascists...

They dressed up as and took pictures. It was a photo contest. A photo depicts of a guy and a girl and signed it was an idea of BRSM primary organisation of Hlybokaye town.

Westki.info reminds that public use of swastika is forbidden in EU countries. The Internet-edition wonders: what interest will this performance evoke in young readers of the newspaper? How will old people react, for those these symbols mean pain, suffering and death? Will this photo session inspire minor skinheads, who draw swastikas on walls?
