Attack against MP candidate Andrei Levinau

Former militia officer, acting opposition MP candidate in the Vitsebsk Chyhunachny constituency #19 Andrei Levinau was attacked in his house at 7.30 pm September 22.

Levinau left his flat and went to the refuse chute. A strange man, waiting for him near the lift, hit the candidate from behind and used bodycheck and nailed Andrei to the wall. The stranger used foul language and threatened the candidate, then he run downstairs fast.

Andrei Levinau has bruise and scratch at the right temporal region, the campaign “Human Rights Activists for Free Election” reports.
