“The will expression of the Belarusian citizens won’t be reflected in final reports of voting,” leader of the Party of Communists of Belarus Syarhei Kalyakin said during voting at Kolasauski polling station #106, where he runs.

As S. Kalyakin said, “the beforehand appointed figures” will be recorded in the reports. “The high rate of early voters in the republic and in my constituency proves it,” the politician said. As for Saturday, 30 per cent of the voters have voted in his constituency.

“As far as I know, ballots were replaced on Friday/Saturday night, so early voting is profitable for authorities’ representatives,” leader of the opposition communists thinks.

In his view, an important point in the election is participation of international and local observers: “It is important for them to control votes counting according to the law: the results of early voting, home voting and main election day. I believe the results will be different.”

S. Kalyakin noted that candidates of the United Democratic Forces have good chances: “I am sure, people will vote of 25 candidates from the united list. Another case that whether they wil be allowed to the “house of representatives”. In other case, it will mean the weakness of the authorities.”
