Belarusian Consulate Picketed in Tallinn (Photo)

A rally of protest against rigging election results has taken place near the consulate of Belarus in Tallinn. Its organisers were the members of the United Civil Party Alesya and Artur Tsurbakovy.

Representatives of the foundation “Open Estonia”, “Union of European Youth” public association, students of international educational programs from Moldova and Georgia have taken part in the meeting.

Participants of the rally distributed leaflets informing about violations during the “electoral campaign” in Belarus, and handed out armlets “For Freedom” and CDs with the film “Ploshcha” (Square) by film director Yury Khashchavatski.

The rally was covered by ETV news services, a public TV company of Estonia, a Russian-language informational program “Present-day Camera”, and the news service of the program “Reporter” of the Second channel of Estonian TV.
