Medvedev phoned Lukashenka ahead of meeting in Moscow

Heads of Russia and Belarus have had a telephone conversation today on the initiative of the Russian party.
The press service of Alyaksandr Lukashenka informed about it.
The heads of the two states discussed the agenda of the oncoming sessions of the Interstate Council of head of states of the Eurasian Economic Community (EAEC) and a session of the Council of the Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).
They discussed personnel affaires of the CSTO, budget of the organization, collective rapid deployment forces, the purpose of their formation, international legal status, goals and conditions of functioning.
Alyaksandr Lukashenka and Dmitry Medvedev also discussed some issues related to a session of the Supreme State Council of the Belarus-Russia “union state” which is to be held in early February.
Vice premier of Belarus Andrei Kabyakou said at a press conference on Friday that the Supreme State Council of the “union state” would take place in Moscow on February 3.
It should be reminded that Belarus’s ambassador to Ukraine Valyantsin Vyalichka has recently said new Russian gas price for Belarus will be defined at a meeting of Alyaksandr Lukashenka and Dmitry Medvedev in Moscow in February.
