Nastassya Mashchava, a “Young Belarus” activist was fined 30 basic units by court of Zavadski district of Minsk.

On December 2 during a performance near “Belarus” department store Nastassya Mashchava was making pictures. As Radio Svaboda informed, she was told in the court that she had no right to make pictures without accreditation.

The young activist is outraged by the verdict and thinks any person with a camera could be brought to account in the same way.

We remind that young activists Paval Prakapovich and Yahor Babrou were sentenced to 15 days of arrest, and Andrei Kuzminski to 7 days for participation in the rally.

The “Young Belarus” activists were detained on December 2 while they held a performance near “Belarus” department store. The young people set up a stand and painted a man with moustache on it. It was written under the caricature: “Throw an egg at me if you don’t like the regime”. Young activists placed a box with eggs near the stand. There were some persons who liked the idea, and some eggs were flung into the stand.

However, participants of the action were detained soon. Policemen drew up reports against all the activists of “Young Belarus”. They were charged with participation in an unsanctioned rally. “Young Belarus” activists spent a night in the remand prison in Akrestsin Street.
