Militia officers of the Savetski district of Minsk detained three activists of the Belarusian Christian Democracy party near Kamarouski Market.

Valeria Charnamortsava, Natallya Vasilevich and Dzyanis Kobruseu were holding an action “Our Answer to Crisis” and were spreading leaflets calling to save money in crisis and saying about necessity to cut down state machinery and expenses for law enforcement agencies. A packet with carrot seeds was attached to leaflets.

The detained oppositionists were guarded to the Savetski district militia department of Minsk. Administrative reports for violation of public order were drawn up against them.
