Alyaksandr Lukashenka is discussing an opportunity to keep in Belarus Lenin’s body that can be removed from mausoleum and buried.
The dictator thinks a proposal to get rid of the Lenin’s mummy is a crime and is ready to take it to Minsk, NEWSru.com reports referring to Novy Region agency that in turn referred to a source close to the Belarusian ruler.
If Lenin is really transported to Belarus, a special tomb will probably be constructed for him. According to the sources, this project has been discussed at high level several times.
Rumours about possible burying of Lenin’s corpse have been exciting the Russian society since late 1980ies. For example, it was offered last year to remove the remains of the Soviet leader to the Federal Military Memorial Cemetery in Moscow to be open in 2010.
