The Russian Agency for Health and Consumer Rights extended a ban on more than 1000 types of products.
Russia banned importing all Belarusian milk products, head of the Russian Agency for Health and Consumer Rights Gennady Onishchenko said, RIA Novosti reports.
“The list (of banned Belarusian products) has been extended today, now practically all Belarusian dairy products banned for importing.”
According to him, more than 1000 types of milk products “except for 50–60 ones” are banned.
The first list, made on June 6, included 500 milk-related items from Belarus. The ban was imposed because producers failed to re-register documents according to regulations entered into force in December 2008.
