Chávez sent a messenger to Minsk

Vice President of Venezuela Ramón Carrizales arrives in Minsk with a working visit on June 20.

Ramón Carrizales is expected to take part in to take part in official opening of the new building of the Embassy of Venezuela in Minsk, BelTA reports.

This is the first visit of the Venezuelan vice president to Belarus.

President of Venezuela Hugo Chavez visited Belarus three times – in 2006, 2007 and 2008.

President of Belarus Alyaksandr Lukashenka made an official visit to Venezuela in December 2007 during which a range of important documents was signed and a joint Belarusian-Venezuelan oil company was inaugurated in the state of Anzoategui.
