“European Belarus” activist summoned to KGB

Zmitser Yarmolich was detained by policemen in Smarhon at 3 a.m. on June 21. Several stickers of the civil campaign “European Belarus” were found by him during the search.
The young man was taken to the police department, where a report was drawn up against him. He was charged with keeping and dissemination of printed materials without imprint. The report was drawn up by a policeman Sinkovsky. Zmitser Yarmolich was released only at 8 a.m.
In the noon policemen and KGB men came to his place. They held a search in his flat. They didn’t show any documents. They found nothing illegal during the search. A summons with a demand to come to the regional KGB directorate ob June 22 at 3 p.m. was given to Zmitser.
