Anton Kalinouski, one of the leaders of “BPF Youth”, was detained at a border crossing point when returning to Belarus in the morning June 9.

Border guards detained him for more than four hours waiting for officers of the military enlistment office to give them the detained activist. Anton Kalinouski has an exemption from the military service. The exemption was probably cancelled, and now the authorities plan to draft the activist into the army as a matter of urgency, the website mbnf.org writes.

It should be reminded that “Young Front” activist Yauhen Skrabets was detained on June 4. Two militiamen and two officers of the military enlistment office, threatening with use of physical force, took Skrabets for a medical examination to the neurology unit of the region hospital. Skrabets had a call-up order for June 9.

So, the second wave of the political draft gains momentum. The technology of calling up activists of different public movements was developed last year. Franak Vyachorka, Ivan Shyla, Zmitser Khvedaruk and other activists were forceful drafted into the army with violations of the law.
